When Sunset Town lights up, the smell of grilled seafood and live music lead you toward the sea.
VUI-Fest (Vui Phet) Night Market is where Sunset Town keeps the evening going after sunset: seafood picked from the tank, island dishes, street performances and souvenir stalls. Here is what to know before you go: opening hours, what to eat, how to get there from your hotel and the best time to visit.
Where VUI-Fest Night Market is and when it opens
The market sits on the beach next to Sunset Town, An Thoi Ward, in the south of Phu Quoc. From Venice Hotel it is about a 12-minute walk. If you stay at Roma or Sakurakyo, reception will show you the way or call a car for you.
According to the Sun Paradise Land guide updated in September 2026, the market opens daily from 4pm to midnight. Hours may change on holidays, so check with reception before you go.
What to eat at VUI-Fest
Seafood from the tank
Fresh seafood waits in glass tanks; choose what you like and the kitchen will grill, steam or stir-fry it on the spot. Ask the price by weight before you choose.
Island dishes
Bun quay, fish cake noodle soup and herring salad are worth trying at least once in Phu Quoc. Finish with coconut ice cream or a cold fruit smoothie.
Performances and souvenirs
Along the walkways you will find fire dancing, circus acts, magic, traditional instruments and young bands. Stalls sell pearl bracelets, seashell art, Phu Quoc pepper, sim wine and fish sauce.
