Kiss Bridge was designed by the Italian architect Marco Casamonti, inspired by the legend of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl and by Michelangelo’s “The Creation of Adam”. Each arm is 400 m long, curving gently out from either shore before stopping a moment short of touching, and more than 400 verses and sayings about love are engraved along the railings. The bridge opened on 22 December 2023 and has since become the most talked-about sunset spot in Phu Quoc.
Where Kiss Bridge is and how to get there from the hotels
Kiss Bridge sits on the western shore of Sunset Town in An Thoi ward, southern Phu Quoc, right by Pearl Square and the clock tower. From Venice Hotel at 9-17 Venice Street you simply cross the square to reach the foot of the bridge, about a 2-minute walk. From Roma Hotel and Sakurakyo Hotel & Spa, Amalfi Street leads straight to the sea in about 7 to 10 minutes on flat paved streets, easy with a pushchair.
