Choosing a treatment for the end of a day on the island

Stiff neck and shoulders after the flight and a long day: the neck, back and shoulder therapy is the first choice. Three lengths of 30, 60 and 75 minutes let you fit in a short session before dinner, or a full one to release the tension built up in plane and car seats.

Feet that have walked all day: the foot care treatment, also in three lengths, lightens feet and calves before an evening stroll. Skin after a day at the beach: the sunburn skin care treatment soothes and restores the skin the same day, ideal for an afternoon back from Hon Thom.

Herbal hair wash: a quiet 60 to 90 minutes after a day of sun and wind

If only an hour of the evening is left, the herbal hair wash is the gentlest way to relax the head, neck and shoulders, nourish the hair and calm the mind before sleep. There is no need to change clothes, and afterwards you can walk back to the hotel and rest straight away. The Gentle Relaxation wash, 60 minutes, is the starting point. Tam An (75 minutes) and An Nhien (90 minutes) add a Japanese face mask during the wash. The special Complete Essence package, 90 minutes, is the fullest version.

The late fireworks show in Sunset Town ends at around 21:30 and the spa takes its last booking at 22:00, so a 60-minute hair wash after the fireworks is still possible if you reserve a time in the afternoon.

Perfect Relaxation joins an aroma oil massage with a relaxing hair wash, a gentle start to Japanese-style relaxation. Stress Relief pairs Thai massage with a basic facial to free the shoulders and back after long days of sightseeing. Awaken Energy uses the warmth of hot stones with the Hikari facial to recharge. Happy Combo is reserved for mothers-to-be. Sakurakyo Monopoly combines an aroma oil massage with sunburn skin care for skin fresh from the beach. Facial care with Sakura Sakuyahime cherry blossom essence

The 60-minute facials come in five options: basic skin care, medical extraction with a mask, sunburn skin care, prenatal skin care and the special Hikari treatment that brings out the skin’s radiance. After a day at sea, choose sunburn care. Before an evening of photos at Kiss Bridge, Hikari is the better choice. The 75-minute rejuvenation and neck care combo adds a Japanese mask.

With only 20 minutes to spare, two quick treatments for the eye and neck areas are enough to refresh the face. Every treatment uses the Sakura Sakuyahime range: cleanser, cleansing gel, moisturiser, masks and Non Chemical UV Base sunscreen.

How to book without waiting

Busy hours

From 19:00, and right after the fireworks, the spa is at its fullest. Reserve a time in the afternoon or as soon as you check in. The last booking is taken at 22:00.

Guests at Venice and Roma

Sakurakyo Spa is inside Sakurakyo Hotel & Spa on Amalfi Street, about a 5-minute walk from both hotels. Reception will book and arrange a suitable time. You only need to say how many people and which treatment you would like.
