The hotels’ free airport shuttle

All three Skyeth Group hotels run a free airport shuttle for staying guests on a fixed daily schedule. Send your flight number and arrival time to reception at least 24 hours ahead. The car waits at pillar 4 of the arrivals hall for up to 10 minutes after the scheduled time. Daily schedule

Airport to hotel: 08:00, 10:00, 13:00, 16:00 and 18:00. Hotel to airport: 07:00, 09:00, 12:00, 15:00 and 17:00. If your flight does not match the schedule, the hotel offers a private 7-seat car at 350,000 VND each way and a 16-seat van at 600,000 VND each way for groups, booked through reception or when you reserve the room.

Taxi and ride-hailing

A taxi from the airport to Sunset Town costs about 350,000 VND and takes 30 minutes. Four- and seven-seat cars wait in the taxi lane right outside arrivals. Familiar companies: Mai Linh 0297 3979 797, Dang Quang 0297 3789 789. Tell the driver “Sunset Town, An Thoi” and then the hotel name, because the three hotels are a few hundred metres apart on Amalfi and Sorrento streets.

Ride-hailing apps such as Grab and Xanh SM work at the airport, with fares similar to a taxi at normal hours and higher late at night or in the rain. For two or more people with luggage, the hotel’s private car at 350,000 VND is the surest choice: the driver knows the way and is already waiting.

Bus and motorbike

Public buses from the airport currently run north to Duong Dong and Grand World, with no direct route to Sunset Town, so the bus is not a convenient option on arrival day. Inside Sunset Town, hotel guests get a free electric buggy tour of the town on an afternoon schedule, and Sun World runs a free bus between Sunset Town and Kem Beach for ticket holders. Renting a motorbike suits solo travellers heading to the north of the island; rent in Sunset Town rather than at the airport, so you can return it where you stay.

From Duong Dong, Kem Beach and the ports

From central Duong Dong to Sunset Town is about 23 km, a 40 to 45-minute drive along DT 975. Kem Beach is only a few minutes away, with Sun World’s free bus running both ways from about 08:30 to 22:30. From Bai Vong port, where the fast ferries from Rach Gia and Ha Tien dock, it is about 30 minutes by car; book a taxi or private car in advance because few cars wait at the port.

For guests arriving by ferry, the hotel can arrange a private car at the port at a rate by route. Let reception know when you book.

Departure day: to the airport on time

Domestic flights

Be at the airport 90 minutes before departure. On the hotel shuttle, take the run that leaves at least 2 hours 30 minutes before your flight, for example the 09:00 shuttle for a 12:30 flight.

International flights

Be there 2 to 3 hours ahead. The 07:00 shuttle or a private car booked to your time is the safest.

Late check-out or an evening flight

Check-out is at 12:00. If you fly in the evening, leave your luggage at reception, use the pool and the jacuzzi at Loop, then take the 17:00 shuttle or book a private car at 350,000 VND for the time you choose.
