Dry season, November to April: the best and the busiest
Temperatures of 25 to 30°C, very little rain, calm and clear seas. This is when the sunset at Kiss Bridge is sharpest, the Hon Thom cable car and Aquatopia fill a whole day, and the fireworks are rarely postponed for rain. April is the hottest month, sometimes 35°C, so schedule the cable car for the morning.
It is also peak season for Venice, Roma and Sakurakyo. From 15 December to 5 January and over Lunar New Year, rooms are usually full weeks ahead. If you travel on a holiday, book early, ideally one to two months ahead, and choose a sea-view room to watch the fireworks from your balcony instead of the crowd at Kiss Bridge.
