Sunset Town fits within a walk: Kiss Bridge is 2 minutes from Venice Hotel, the Hon Thom cable car station 10 minutes, the night market 12 minutes. This guide arranges it all into a one-day itinerary for guests at Venice, Roma and Sakurakyo, with times, prices and walking distances measured on Google Maps.

Times and prices follow Sun World’s announcements as of September 2026 and may change by season. The reception desks of all three hotels sell cable car and show tickets at preferential rates for hotel guests and outside visitors alike, so there is no need to queue at the station.

Morning: Hon Thom cable car, Aquatopia and Exotica

Have the breakfast buffet from 6:30 at Roma or Sakurakyo, then walk to An Duong Station, the departure point of the sea-crossing cable car that runs almost 8 km and is recorded as the longest in the world. The cabin takes 15 minutes each way, looking down over the An Thoi archipelago. It runs in three windows: 09:30 to 11:30, 13:30 to 14:00 and 15:30 to 17:30. Take the 09:30 window for a full morning on Hon Thom.

The cable car ticket includes Aquatopia water park (10:00 to 16:45) and Exotica village (09:30 to 16:30). The listed price is 810,000 VND for adults and 679,000 VND for children, free under 1 m. Ask reception for the hotel’s preferential rate. Bring swimwear if you plan on Aquatopia, and return on the 13:30 or 15:30 window depending on how the children are holding up.

Walking distance to the cable car station

Sakurakyo Hotel & Spa: 2 minutes (120 m). Roma Hotel: 9 minutes (550 m). Venice Hotel: 10 minutes (550 m) along Amalfi street. The route is flat and suitable for strollers.

Afternoon: spa, coffee and gifts

From 13:00 to 16:00 the sun is at its strongest, a good time to stay indoors. Sakurakyo Spa at 44 to 46 Amalfi opens 09:00 to 23:00 and welcomes guests of all three hotels as well as outside visitors, with aromatherapy massage, hot stone, foot massage and Japanese-style facials. Book on 0899 108 308, last appointment at 22:00.

If the spa is not your plan, sit at Sa Pa Cafe with a cup of Shan Tuyet tea, step into Sa Pa Souvenir next door for Vietnamese specialties to take home, or browse Sun Signature Gallery, a free art exhibition space on Apollo Square.

Between about 17:30 and 18:30 depending on the season, the sun goes down behind Kiss Bridge; in the dry season it drops right into the gap between the two arms, the most famous photo in Sunset Town. Get to the bridge 20 minutes early for a spot, then walk 2 minutes back to Loop Jacuzzi Bar and soak in the jacuzzi during Happy Hour, buy one get one from 17:00 to 20:00. Evening: fireworks, night market and the show

19:30 is the Symphony of the Sea fireworks in front of Kiss Bridge, watched from Loop or the square without a ticket. Afterwards, have dinner at Venice Café & Eatery or walk 12 minutes to the VUI-Fest night market on the beach for grilled seafood, fruit and live music.

21:00 is the Kiss of the Sea show on the floating stage, ending with fireworks at 21:30. Watch from Loop with a 300,000 VND Sun World ticket, free for Venice guests, or from a sea-view balcony. Details are in our Sunset Town fireworks schedule.

With small children and on rainy days

Take the 09:30 cable car and return at 13:30 for nap time. Aquatopia has shallow play areas for children and Exotica has a small zoo. Children under 1 m ride the cable car and watch the show for free. In the evening, watch the fireworks from a sea-view balcony instead of the crowd.

Rainy days

The rainy season from May to October usually brings an afternoon shower that clears. Move the cable car to the morning and keep the afternoon for the spa or a cafe. The evening show may be paused in strong wind, so ask reception before 18:00.

Tuesdays

On Tuesdays both fireworks shows run as usual, and Loop also hosts Ladies Night with free-flow cocktails for female guests from 21:00. The cable car runs as usual too.
