Recently, Phu Quoc has recorded numerous cases of fraud involving individuals or pages impersonating hotels/resorts, fanpages, or room sales agents, offering unusually low prices to collect deposits and then disappearing. In some cases, guests have faced last-minute cancellations, price coercion, or refusal of check-in upon arrival, causing serious damage to travelers’ rights and the reputation of the destination.
